Who uses Power BI

Can Power BI send out emails?
Subscribe to reports and dashboards that matter most to you, and Power BI will email a snapshot to your inbox. You tell Power BI how often you want to receive the emails: daily, weekly, or when the data refresh. You can even set a specific time for Power BI to send the emails or have it run now.

Power BI service
Power BI service is a secure Microsoft hosted cloud service that lets users view dashboards, reports, and Power BI apps — a type of content that combines related dashboards and reports — using a web browser or via mobile apps for Windows, iOS, and Android.
Power BI Desktop
Power BI Desktop is a free, self-service data analysis and report authoring tool that you install on a Windows computer. It can connect to more than 70 on-premises and cloud data sources to turn information into interactive visuals. Data scientists and developers work with Power BI Desktop to produce reports and make them available to the Power BI service.
Can Power BI run on MAC?
Since Power BI can’t run on a Mac, here are our recommendations to run Power BI on Macintosh Devices.
Install and run Power BI on a Virtual Machine, then remote into that Virtual Machine.
Install and run Power BI on a PC, then use a remote viewer to control that PC.
